Members of the Legislative Council Panel on Home Affairs visited the Hong Kong Sports Institute (HKSI) on 17 January (Tuesday). Mr Lau Kong-wah JP, Secretary for Home Affairs; Mr Yeung Tak-keung JP, Commissioner for Sports; Mr Carlson Tong Ka-shing SBS JP, Chairman of the HKSI; and Dr Trisha Leahy BBS, Chief Executive of the HKSI, introduced the training and development of elite sports to the Members, and they also exchanged views with elite athletes.
During the visit, Members indicated their support to Hong Kong elite athletes with a hope that they will continue their dedication and bring glory to Hong Kong.
