Sports Education and Sports Career Development in Hong Kong

Sport is a rapidly expanding industry where significant development in the provision and consumption of sport and recreation services has resulted in a greater demand for sports education program in Hong Kong. Since the government allocated funding to start the first full-time degree program in sports and physical education in the early ninety's, the demand on related sports courses has been increasing. This created a foundation to sports career development in Hong Kong, including sports science, coach education, sports administration etc. The speaker will analyze the various sports courses given in different tertiary education bodies in the seminar.
