Are you a “fully functioning person”? According to Carl Rogers, the “fully functioning person” has “no fear”. We are facing a lot of fears in sport and in our daily life: fear of failure, fear of not being good enough and fear of not being accepted by others, etc. Fear can distort our self-efficacy and undermine our functioning. The speaker will describe the characteristic of the “fully functioning person” and the emergence of “dys-functional personality”. This seminar at-tempts to provide the basic knowledge of the concept and some methods on how to become more “fully functioning” in sport and in our daily life.
